Feedback
I have been informed that some people feel that the UDP organisers are not responding to feedback and criticism. It seems a lot of this feedback, however, is happening in places we cannot necessarily see, from people we have no direct contact with. If we hear about it at all, it's second hand info from someone telling us "hey someone said this in X server". This obviously makes the matter challenging.
I am sure some of the discontent stems from people who simply offered flawed ideas that were rejected, do not accept this and complain, but it is also true that there is surely also good feedback out there that is simply not reaching the right place to be considered. This is unfortunate.
To help address this, I encourage people to provide feedback in the following ways:
All suggestions will be taken seriously whether they are ultimately accepted or not. For suggestions that are accepted, please understand it may be some time before they are implemented, as there are other aspects of the project to develop and maintain too which may be higher priority.
Discord
Join the r/battlecats Discord Server where the UDP originated from, and give your views in the #udp-discussions channel. Try to be constructive and propose how to make something better, rather than just say something should be improved with no suggestion how, to get a positive reaction from the community.
Alternatively, direct messages to @ThanksFĂ«anor#3087 work.
