Epic Seed Priority List
These lists indicate the order an average player might like to true form cats requiring Elder Fruit and Epic Seeds, which are quite limited at the beginning of UL when they are first unlocked. Your mileage may vary and use your own judgement to adjust the list to your own situation where it differs from most.

Elder Fruit Priority List
Back to topPriority | Cat | Reason | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 |
Slapstick Cats |
Slapsticks have really good AoE DPS, are very cost efficient, and have the range to take on units like M. Ost too. It's the only somewhat spammable anti-Relic on this list, and is brought to a significant fraction of late game stages as either an anti-Relic specialist or just a good stackable area attacker. Talents further cement its place in the late game meta. An easy first choice. | |||||

2 |
Awakened Mina |
Mina gets a much-needed buff in true form: increased attack, LD range and HP, and she can weaken Relics to 50% at a 50% chance. Great in many late game stages, and essential to own if you lack good LD Ubers. A welcome addition even if you do. Also great to have for 4* restrictions. A great TF that you should be very keen to unlock. | |||||

3 |
Awakened Ururun |
Ururun gains a massive stat improvement that make her a very competent generalist, even outshining many Uber backliners. Curse Immunity allows her to continue her knockback support job in Relic and mixed stages. Replaceable by many top level Ubers in UL, but not in 4* where she'll be your first choice of backliner. Should be one of the first Elder Fruit TFs without question. | |||||

4 |
Cat Quest Heroes |
Cat Quest Heroes gets Relic targeting, a longer weaken, and much more HP. He works well against most Relics, being able to weaken them with 67% uptime. He also only costs one Relic Seed (+ an Epic Seed) rather than a whole fruit, which means unlocking him is not a huge burden and can be done as first priority once the big three meta-centric units above are done with. The ability to weaken Relics and other traits simultaneously is especially handy in higher star levels of UL, where the overbuffed enemies will otherwise eat through your meatshields. | |||||
x1000000 | x3 | x3 | x3 | x1 | x1 | ||
5 |
Ultimate Mecha-Bun |
Mecha-Bun is almost mandatory for Primitive Souls, unless you have one of the handful of Ubers that work for the level. Its bulk against Relics make it useful to tank Dogumaru, and it's also decent against Lowkey. Very bad tank otherwise, and can still get killed easily even by other Relics. Moves down to near the bottom of the list if you have competent Tank and Rusher ubers, or Balrog. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x5 | x5 | x10 | x1 | ||
6 |
Lasvoss Reborn |
Lasvoss gains Surge Immune, Toxic Immune, double HP and 50% more DPS, as well as a more reliable Strengthen at 30% HP instead of 1%. These improvements make him much better and are absolutely worth unlocking, but the immense cost of evolving him (1 Elder Fruit, 10 Epic Seeds and a Gold Fruit) and the need to ultramax him to level 50 to make him truly shine, mean he should certainly wait until cheaper but equally or more important True Forms are unlocked. | |||||
x1000000 | x10 | x1 | x1 | ||||
7 |
Bad Blaster Saki |
Saki gains Relic targeting, which expands her late-game use drastically. She's a top choice of counter to many ranged Relics such as Loris and Dogumaru, and does well against a variety of shorter ranged threats such as Puffington, and to some extent M. Ost if properly protected. Costs two Elder Fruit, but the performance mostly justifies it. | |||||
x1000000 | x1 | x2 | |||||
8 |
Ultra Delinquent Cat |
Ultra Delinquent Cat can freeze Relics that Medusa has a tough time with, such as Oldhorn, but there are still not a lot of Relic enemies that he can freeze. Viable especially in stages that mix Relic and Floating, or Floating + Curse Base, but quite poor in general. Also unviable as a midranger due to his very slow recharge time. Lacks the 4* usage of higher-rated units. Talents are expensive and do not fix his problems. | |||||
x500000 | x4 | x1 | x1 | x2 | x1 | ||
9 |
Awakened Musashi |
Musashi gains decent all-round stat buffs which improve his matchup vs. wave enemies, but still stands at an awkward range, giving him limited general use. His Freeze vs. Relic is unreliable, and he has poor compatibility with ranged zombies like Cadaver Bear for his Zombie Killer ability to shine. Even in 4* stages, he's mostly replaceable by talented Dancer Cat. If you desperately lack anti-Wave or anti-Zombie Ubers, you could consider him a few places higher on the list, but he barely gets the job done and other options are usually preferred. | |||||
x1000000 | x10 | x10 | x10 | x10 | x1 | ||
10 |
Ultimate Catman |
Catman is really good against Oldhorn and M. Ost, but isn't as useful against other Relic enemies compared to other units higher up on the list. He gets outranged by a lot of Relics, which limits his uses. He really shines in some UL 2 star stages as enemies are way too buffed for your unboosted Slapsticks to handle, and an Uber nuker can speed things up, but you should be doing this in very late game and so his priority remains low, especially at the cost of two Elder Fruits. | |||||

11 |
Kinrangers GigaForce |
Kinrangers GigaForce gains Curse vs Angel enemies, 25% more HP, and 10% more damage. The Curse is quite consistent, but has few relevant targets (Winged Pigge, Sleipnir). The stat buffs, while nice, are not as important the above Elder Catfruit TFs that unlock powerful new abilities, as the Evolved Form stats are already satisfactory, and can be improved with Catseyes if really needed while you work on the above TFs. As with most ubers on the list, comes at a steep 2 Elder Fruit cost too. | |||||

12 |
Schoolbus Nyandam |
Nyandam gains some pretty decent stat boosts, but nothing too extraordinary. His uses are still near non-existent. At most, he can be used in a few 4* stages to outrange annoying enemies, though other strategies exist in all cases. Advised to unlock last as it's really just a collector's item at this point. | |||||

Epic Seed Priority List
Back to topPriority | Cat | Reason | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 |
Almighty Amaterasu |
Amaterasu gains a massive damage boost in TF, and gets access to the cheap and very useful Zombie Killer talent making her one of the top counters to bulky Zombies. If you already have many good specialists in her traits and a solid Zombie nuker, you may not need her as much, but otherwise you won't get more value from your Epic Seed anywhere else. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
2 |
Almighty Ganesha |
Ganesha improves the most of any unit on this list with TF and Talents. At full potential he has game-breaking LD DPS on par with Dark Kasli, with great piercing range and bulk. However, this requires substantial NP investment and slightly lacks in diversity of uses compared to Amaterasu. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
3 |
Almighty Chronos |
Chronos does not improve significantly and works about as well as before TF, but is so widely useful that you will still get a lot of benefit out of improving her. LD Freeze is a very rare ability for a good reason, dominating many stages even in late game, and adding Curse Resistance helps in this domain. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
4 |
Cat Quest Heroes |
CCH also needs a Relic Seed to TF, but is heavily improved, gaining Relic targeting, a longer weaken, and much more HP. He works well against most Relics, being able to weaken them effectively at a 67% uptime. The ability to weaken Relics and other traits simultaneously is especially handy in higher star levels of UL, where the overbuffed enemies will otherwise eat through your meatshields. | |||||
x1000000 | x3 | x3 | x3 | x1 | x1 | ||
5 |
Bellydance Cat |
One of very few non-ubers with anti-Aku abilities. Not too expensive to True Form and talent to get a useful and hard to replace line of defense for working through Aku Realms (maybe you have your eye on that Gold Catfruit drop at the end so you can True Form...) | |||||
x200000 | x1 | x1 | x3 | x2 | x2 | ||
6 |
Lasvoss Reborn |
Lasvoss gains Surge Immune, Toxic Immune, double HP and 50% more DPS, as well as a more reliable Strengthen at 30% HP instead of 1%. These improvements make him much better and are absolutely worth unlocking, but the immense cost of evolving him (1 Elder Fruit, 10 Epic Seeds and a Gold Fruit) and the need to ultramax him to level 50 to make him truly shine, mean he should certainly wait until cheaper but equally or more important True Forms are unlocked. | |||||
x1000000 | x10 | x1 | x1 | ||||
Costs two Elder Fruit, but the performance mostly justifies it. | |||||
x1000000 | x1 | x2 | |||||
8 |
Almighty Poseidon |
Poseidon remains good in his main niche of Metal/Zombie CC with or without true form, but with high investment in his talents, can also become a powerful mid-range attacker in general use if that is something you need. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
9 |
Neo Saw Cat |
Miter Saw gains slightly more attack, considerably more HP, and a 20% chance to break Barriers. While it's still single target and you will only be using it for Aliens, the chance of barrier breaking is consistent and it can be of good use on a few hard stages, notably CotC 3 Skelling, Puffsley, and Wanwan. | |||||
x500000 | x1 | x10 | |||||
10 |
Neo Driller Cat |
Driller gains a considerably faster attack rate and becomes strong against Traitless. While it's still single target and you'll only use it for Traitless enemies, it has an uptime of near 100% now, and can be made to permanently weaken with a Weaken Up (M) combo. The stages it is good on are still few in number, though, so it's not a high priority. | |||||
x500000 | x1 | x10 | |||||
11 |
Almighty Hades |
Hades gains Knockback Immunity, which improves his tanker niche in some situations, and access to an HP boost talent. However, his old weaknesses of low DPS and a long cooldown remain, and his anti-Relic talents are almost useless and far too expensive. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
12 |
Neo Cutter Cat |
Cutter gains Wave Immune and more attack. As Berserkory and Two Can (Outside of Slave to Energy, but you won't be using Cutter on it anyway) are pretty powercrept, you won't find much use for the Wave Immune, which limits Cutter's TF to the same uses as before, albeit slightly more effectively. | |||||
x500000 | x1 | x10 | |||||
13 |
Almighty Anubis |
Anubis improves considerably for general use, but his old weaknesses remain and make him clunky to use in practice more often than not. Surge Immune talent is not that valuable unless you've also invested in Gato Amigo and Beefcake Talents, as without a Surge-Immune frontline to protect him during his long foreswing, he will quickly become exposed. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
14 |
Almighty Aphrodite |
Aphrodite gains very little improvement from TF or talents, with no extra damage. However, access to an orb slot lets her improve as an Alien nuker and break all barriers with raw damage if she has a B-rank orb or higher. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
15 |
Almighty Zeus |
Zeus is almost unchanged, with minor stat gains and only a Zombie target talent of any note, and even this is wasted due to his lack of the Zombie Killer ability. Might be nice if Zeus is your favourite uber and you use him more than the average player, but otherwise quite hard to justify unlocking other than for collection. | |||||
x1000000 | x5 | x1 | |||||
16 |
Neo Piledriver Cat |
Piledriver gains more attack and faster recharge. The attack improvement is almost useless, as its DPS is still poor. While faster recharge is good, it is still slow by Super Rare standards. More often than not, Piledriver can be replaced by Ectoweight, which is far more spammable. | |||||
x500000 | x1 | x10 | |||||
17 |
Neo Backhoe Cat |
Backhoe gains a 50% chance of Surge Attack. While the surge is reasonably consistent, Backhoe's attack damage is still low and it still has a poor crit chance, so it's rarely impactful in battle. | |||||
