Battle Cats Progress Outline

This document contains a rough division of parts of the game into Early, Mid, Late, End and Post game activities.
Every player will have a different experience: do not expect this to apply equally to everyone. This is based on the rough difficulty of things if you do not have any broken ubers and play under normal conditions. If you have fest exclusives or use any kind of exploits, you can probably ignore this entirely.
Things in each phase are not listed in the order you should complete them: instead, you should complete them in parallel, progressing more in each as you can, and feel like it, or when the content is available.
Tutorial
"I just started the game and am learning the basics!"
During this phase, you should be aiming to:
- Complete Empire of Cats, Chapters 1, 2 and 3: Unlock Bahamut Cat
- Obtain 100% treasures in each of these chapters
Early Game
"Bahamut is my new best friend!"
During this phase, you should be aiming to:
- Complete Into the Future, Chapters 1, 2 and 3: Unlock Awakened Bahamut
- Obtain 100% treasures in each of these chapters (+ Empire of Cats if you haven't already)
- Clear all Zombie Outbreaks in EoC 1, 2 and 3
- Complete Stories of Legend up to Subchapter 18: Unlock Ururun Wolf
Alongside this, you should be able to:
- Collect the Crazed Cats
- Defeat the Black, Red, White and Angel Cyclones
- Unlock Normal Cat True Forms
- Reach User Rank 1600+ to unlock Lv30 Cats and Gacha True Forms
- Unlock the True Forms of Max priority Rare and Super Rare units
- Progress up to around Floor 20 of Heavenly Tower
- Begin to clear early Aku stages such as Empress Research 1
- Clear Areas 1~4 of Behemoth Culling stages
Mid Game
"How did I ever live without Awakened Bahamut and Crazed Cats?"
During this phase, you should be aiming to:
- Complete Cats of the Cosmos, Chapters 1 and 2
- Obtain 100% treasures in each of these chapters
- Clear all Zombie Outbreaks in ITF 1, 2 and 3
- Complete Stories of Legend up to Subchapter 49: Unlock various Legends
Alongside this, you should be able to:
- Defeat the Manic Stages to True Form your Crazed Cats
- Start to obtain true forms of some Li’l Cats
- Defeat the Cosmic, Super Cosmic, Zombie, Perfect and Metal and Aku Cyclones
- Defeat most of the Deadly Advents
- Start clearing some SoL 2-, 3-, and 4-crowns subchapters
- Unlock the True Forms of High and Medium priority Rare and Super Rare units
- Unlock talents for Top and High Priority non-Uber units
- Hypermax Top and High Priority non-Uber units
- Reach User Rank 3650+ to unlock Level 30 Crazed Cats
- Progress up to around Floor 29 of Heavenly Tower
- Begin to play The Aku Realms after clearing more Aku stages
- Clear Areas 5~10 of Behemoth Culling stages
- Start obtaining Behemoth Stones (and Ancient Eggs), as well as unlocking some Behemoth Slayer units' True Forms
Late Game
"Oh Sweet Summer Child, you thought Mid Game was hard?"
During this phase, you should be aiming to:
- Cats of the Cosmos, Chapter 3
- Obtain 100% treasures in CotC 3
- Clear all Zombie Outbreaks in CotC 1
- Uncanny Legends up to around subchapter 21: Unlock Dogumaru and Urs & Fenrir
Alongside this, you should be able to:
- Complete your collection of Manic and Li’l True Forms
- Defeat the Relic Cyclone
- Complete Growing Strange and getting the important Elder Catfruit True Forms
- Complete Deadly Advent Wrath and Revenge Stages
- Begin doing Merciless Advent Stages
- Complete 2- and 3- crowns SoL, and making good headway into 4-crowns
- Unlock some talents for Medium priority non-Uber units, along with Top and High priority Ubers (if any)
- Ultramax Top, High and Medium priority non-Uber units
- Progress up to around Floor 40 of Heavenly Tower
- Possibly complete Legend Quest (starting with many stars)
- Challenge but perhaps not complete the Baron (aka Gauntlet) Stages
- Complete The Aku Realms and defeat Jagando
- Clear the highest current Area of Behemoth Culling stages
- Unlock most important Behemoth Slayer True Forms
End Game
"When will Ponos release new content?"
During this phase, you should be aiming to:
- Complete Uncanny Legends up to Subchapter 49: Unlock various Legends
Alongside this, you should be able to:
- Finish 4-crowns SoL and obtain Idi
- Start clearing some UL 2-, 3-, and 4-crowns subchapters
- Complete most new content as it arrives (Merciless Advent Wrath/Revenge, etc)
- Reach User Rank 9999 for +90 Normal Cats
- Unlock talents for all Medium Priority non-Uber units, and some Medium Priority Ubers
- Ultramax all Low priority and up non-Uber units
- Progress up to Floor 50 of Heavenly Tower and Floor 40 of Infernal Tower
- Complete Legend Quest comfortably (starting with near-max crowns)
- Comfortably reach at least 10% Rank in Dojos
- Make a serious attempt at finishing Baron Stages
- Complete Mining Epic and unlocking the important Epic Behemoth Stone True Forms
Post Game
"Why am I still playing?"
During this phase, you should be aiming to:
- Complete Zero Legends up to the most recently released subchapter
- Complete Uncanny Legends at every current difficulty
Alongside this, you should be able to:
- Beat the Baron Stage to farm Talent Orbs from their continuation stages
- Clear whatever stage on release
- Reach User Rank 15000 for 20+80 Superfeline and unlocking Superfeline's True Form
- Reach at least around Floor 75 / 5% rank in Labyrinths
